      Mobile Developer Interview

      8 May 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Denver, CO
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Photobucket (Denver, CO) in Mar 2016

      Interview

Phone screening with HR then after 1 week I had a phone interview with the software development manager. After another week I met with 2 API/database developers in person along with 1 mobile developer on the phone. I also spoke with the CTO on the same day I spoke with the API/database developers. Finally another week later (week 3) I had a 1 on 1 interview with the CEO. The interviews went fine, however I was told they decided to go on a "holding pattern" after 3 weeks and many interviews. I never heard back from them as far as a final decision goes which seems a bit out of the ordinary. Honestly, the only reason I would give this a negative review (they never got back to me with a final decision. It's fine if the answer was "no" but just say "no" instead of "holding pattern"). I was a bit bummed out after spending 3 weeks and meeting everyone at the company. The CTO is very intelligent and enthusiastic. The software team seemed like they would be fantastic to work with.
