I interviewed at Pharma Targeting (London, England)
Interview
Casual chats with the CEO and founder, asking about interest in the company and prior experience. Took about 20 mins. Plenty of time to ask questions about the company and opportunity to talks to present employees to learn more and see if it could be a fit.

Question 1
Tell me about your current job and why you are looking for a new role
There were two 15-minute interviews.
The first was with a woman who rescheduled once and arrived late to the actual interview without offering any apology for her tardiness. She asked about my background and made a rude comment: "So you have no experience with pharma." I responded by reaffirming my BSc degree and my experience working in a laboratory. The conversation was generally unpleasant, and I was surprised to receive a callback after such an interaction.
The second interview was with the CEO, who was also late and didn’t acknowledge it. However, the discussion was friendly, although it lacked any standard interview questions.
I was genuinely surprised when I received an offer for the role.
Bizarre at best. Was offered an interview. Then told that they weren’t hiring and cancelled the interview. Then 2 weeks later asked if I still wanted to interview. Which I did. 2 rounds, first was a brief overview of my experience and very short. The second was with the CEO the very next day in which he proclaimed that he didn’t want to talk about business and just went off on a tangent. I was offered the job at a much, MUCH lower rate than advertised on the spot. They seemed desperate.
