I was referred from a friend who worked in another department and heard of the job offer.
2 weeks later I got a first interview with the person I was going to replace (1h30).
2 weeks later I got 3 other interviews (approx. 1 hour each), with HR, my future boss and my future colleague.
I was asked to provide recommendations, and I think HR called them.
Final round was with the head of the department, same type of questions
The interviews were quite standards with very direct and behavioural questions. I was also asked to ask to explain how I would react in some situations or solve some specific topics. I had to know about the group's strategy, and have multiple examples of work situation in mind
