Interview
A recruiter reached out to me to chat on a weekend and because I wanted the job, I responded immediately. First, we discussed the client’s needs, my background and pay expectations. Then, I submitted my resume as requested but I was rushed during the weekend to put my entire work history onto a resume. After going through all the pointless effort and sending the new resume, which I never ever had to do before for any job, I never heard from the recruiter again. Completely ghosted.
Good interview, but was the recruiter deemed me more suitable for the recruiter role and did not tell me this at the start of the call. I asked if the role he was discussing was what I applied to, he said no and insisted I'd be a fit for the recruiter position of which I showed no interest in advance hence applying for the BDM position.
Interview was positive and the recruiters comments reflected that I'd advance, however ever since the interview there has been nothing but radio silence. Professional. Salary is good.
