I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Pentair (Milwaukee, WI) in Mar 2013
Interview
The interview process was a with multiple individuals. Most were one on one; however, one interview was with two people at the same time. They use a set behavior interview style system. Each interviewer is given a list of questions to ask and are then asked to rate each answer separately. The planning of the interview from the interviewee side was poor. There was no prior interview agenda or knowledge of who I was to meet with going in. What I was handed at the start of the interview was a very basic list of names, title and times. It wasn't on company letterhead and looked as if it was done quickly just prior to my arrival.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
None really, standard questions about time when you did this or had to deal with a certain situation.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Pentair
Interview
Several rounds of interviews with various people. Process started good but got more and more delayed due to "circumstances" as they named it. Finally it turned out they had a second interview with an internal candidate going. This was a very uninteger company to deal with. Fine if there is competition, but then name it.
I applied through other source. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Pentair (Delavan, WI) in Sept 2014
Interview
Very relaxing, professional and comfortable. It was with HR manager and hiring manager. Asked about past experiences, why I was looking for a job. Asked what I knew about their company. So do some research on the company before you interview. Ask lots of questions.
