Interview
The interview process involved a face to face discussion with the professor I would be conducting research under. The professor wanted to know my career aspirations to ensure they aligned with the values needed to be a successful researcher.
Zoom call with leader of project (undergraduate student). Discussion with PI to ask if there were any openings on his research team. Conversation on Zoom call was conversational and helped me learn more about the research rather than question my credentials.
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Penn State (Reading, PA) in Aug 2019

There was no interview process. It was easy. No need to worry. Just ask for a job and they will give it to you. I am now only doing this for a word count.
