I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Penguin Random House (London, England) in Apr 2019
Interview
Applied with CV and cover letter. Was asked to prepare publicity campaigns for two books to discuss at interview. Interviewers were friendly, got a good sense of the office. Was asked to come back for a second interview, think that would have been a final one if successful.

The interview process was fairly quick and easy. I was referred by current employee. Everyone was friendly and engaging, and willing to answer questions. I had several follow up conversations and they took the time to find answers to my questions that were not answered in the interview.

Interview
Very friendly and communicative. Did a total of 4 interviews with different staff. Ultimately didn't get the job but it was a positive experience nonetheless.
They asked about my experience, how I communicate effectively, and what made me want to work for them.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Penguin Random House (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2020
Interview
I applied online with a resume and cover letter. I then had a phone interview with a Director. Following that, I had an in-person interview with the Director and two additional Publicity/Marketing Directors. After that, I had an interview with the Director and Communications VP. And finally, I had to create a publicity outline for a book of my choosing (I was given three books to choose from).
