I usually don’t write reviews but I’m SO LIVID. Firstly, I had an initial phone interview which was great. My recuriter was really easy going and kept me up to date on things. I had a WebEx interview set up but cancelled because I’d gotten another offer. The offer fell through so I contacted Pella again. And they were nice about rescheduling an interview. Something came up with my mom and they were kind enough to reschedule once again. I’m EXTREMELY appreciative for them doing this, really I am. Because they could have just been done with me. Anyhow, without going into specifics during the interview the two women that were interviewing me were belittling me and my accomplishments and also talking to me as if I were dumb. After continually correcting one interviewer on my name (who didn’t even ask how to pronounce it) she just continued to say it wrong (it’s only 4 letters) honestly I’m just turned off from the whole company. No to mention one interviewer just went they the questions and didn’t pay attention to my answers. I’m not sure if it’s racially charged or if these two interviewer just have some type of God complex. It’s off putting and disgusting and I won’t even bother with giving Pella my business.

Very simple. Phone screening, Teams Meeting, and finally an in-person interview. Questions were generic. They were looking for people who seemed interested in the role. In-person interview was a full day interview with multiple candidates at their Corporate office in Pella, IA.
