Peckham Industries interview questions

The first round was an interview with the hiring manager. The recruiter was very professional, polite, and friendly. I was told that I would receive news about the second round within 2–3 days. However, I didn’t hear back until two weeks later. I was originally supposed to interview with both the manager and team members in the second round, but for some reason, the manager didn’t show up. So the second round ended up being a 45-minute interview with just the team member. The conversation went well, and I felt we communicated nicely. The questions mainly focused on basic IT knowledge and my experience. At the end of the interview, I was told I would receive an update within two weeks. However, when that time passed and I hadn’t heard anything, I followed up with the recruiter three times but received no response. I can accept rejection, but having my follow-up emails ignored multiple times made me feel disrespected and frustrated. I appreciated the professionalism and kindness of the recruiter and the friendliness of my second-round interviewer. However, I believe that if I was not selected, it would have been better to receive an email informing me of the decision, rather than being ghosted. I hope the company can improve this aspect of the recruitment process in the future. I understand there may be many candidates, but at the very least, those who are not selected should not be ghosted — it comes across as impolite.

The Interview process consisted of one phone interview and one interview in person with the team. Was asked standard interview questions like what got you interested in Software Engineering and what would make you a good fit for the team.
