I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Pearson (Iowa City, IA) in Mar 2014
Interview
Very thorough. Online application, 30 minute phone interview with Human Resources, another 30 minute phone interview with hiring manager, then a group (2-3) panel interview with behavioral type questions, then a final interview with the hiring manager.
The Human Resources interview was quite thorough in reviewing my experience vs criteria asked for. We got the obvious salary requirements question out of the way early on. The 2nd phone interview with the hiring manager was equally as thorough and in hindsight I could see how the questions asked prepared me well for the next stage of the interview with the group panel.
The group panel was the most challenging trying to answer each panelist directly as well as trying to include the others and test their reactions.
The final with the hiring manager was more of a formality but both parties seemed very well at ease as we had a good read on each other and it was comfortable moving forward.

Interview
Fairly straight forward process - two round video interview after initial phone call and basic question. Make sure to ask about the org and team you will be on. Everyone is very nice and it is evident they value work life balance. Make connections early on.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Pearson (Dallas, TX) in Mar 2024
Interview
Firstly, scheduling the interviews was a challenge from the start. The interviewer rescheduled three times, which I found to be unprofessional and frustrating. This lack of organization reflected poorly on the company's commitment to respecting candidates' time and schedules.
After completing the interviews, I was informed that I would hear back within a week regarding the outcome of my application. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The process ended up taking three weeks, during which time I was left waiting for an update.
