I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Patagonia in Aug 2011
Interview
The first round on interviews was a GROUP interview with about a dozen applicants and the store manager and the assistant store manager. It was basically a 30 - 45 min open discussion about the history of the company, the products, the quality of service, etc. The store manager asked questions like "what is your favorite product and why?" or " why do you want to work here?" or "If you had 1 million dollars and 1 month to spend it, what would you do?".
The second round was a 1 on 1 interview with the store manager and a floor leader. The questions were more serious and focused around the applicant's background, experience, and skills.
Un colloquio direttamente con il manager del punto vendita per valutare le tue conoscenze in materia outdoor e vedere come te la cavi con le persone. Consiglio di mostrare tanta energia, disponibilità e voglia di lavorare

Question 1
Hai avuto esperienze lavorative a contatto con il pubblico?
It was a really nice and quick process. They were attentive. They made sure that they were actually on time and were quick to get right to their point. It did not take long for them at all and it was an easy going time talking to them.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Patagonia (Nashville, TN)
Interview
I met with the GM and he was lovely to talk with. The store has a positive energy that radiates happiness and the meeting I had was in line with these insights.
