Partners Capital interview questions

Did an informal call, formal interview (Round 1) went super well, got the case study, spent a lot of time on it and even wrote up a word doc, had part 1 of the next round, presented the case study even though the woman interviewing me looked like she wanted to die, and then in part two of round two, the guy asked me about it and I started talking about it then realized he might not have looked at mine. Ask "did you look at my case study". He looked at me. "No." Realize I probably shouldn't have asked that and then floundered for five minutes. He responded to emails during the call and ended it early.
