The interview was a bit confusing. It was in an office building; I was told that if I got the job I would work there, but once I was hired the job was moved to what appeared to be a residential building under construction in a dangerous part of town--I wish I had thought to ask about this during the interview. Before the interview, I wondered why papercheck's website and a site titled Proof-reading were so similar; it seemed they had the same business model, nearly identical fees, and possibly the same clients. I wish I had thought to ask about this during the interview instead of being surprised to learn the truth later. I was not told during the interview whether or not I might actually be working for both these companies or websites at the same time... I wish I had thought to ask about that, but I'd never had an interview where the place I was told I would work and the company I was told I was working for were both things that I should question. Definitely the strangest and most misleading interview I've ever had.
