I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Panera Bread (Pittsburgh, PA) in Jan 2016
Interview
They were very polite and personable. The interview was short and sweet. I was first interviewed by an assistant manager who recommended me highly to the gm. I met with her about a week later and she was very professional and kind. Then I meet with the bakery marketing manager who kept going on about how impressive my resume was. He was very nice. They told me everything about the job upfront and answered all of my questions.
It was fairly easy. Some behavior questions and questions about hobbies. They also asked me if I had any food service experience. Overall, it wasn't a bad gig between jobs.
Applied online, got a phone call to meet at a cafe, interviewed, got an offer, and accepted the job offer. Then scheduled training and orientation. Pretty easy process, except it is 3rd shift.
Very easy. My previous manager became the bakery manager so they already knew me. I contacted her and we arranged a phone call so we could talk about the position and see if it was a good match. It worked out really well for me then I was able to start soon after.
