I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Panera Bread (Corvallis, OR) in Feb 2015
Interview
Got an email from the GM baker of portland, asking to meet up for an interview by email; choosing varies places in oregon that has Panera Bread located, but ask if he could possible come to the place where I apply for, and was fine with it. Went in for the interview hoping for questions thrown at me, but completely different from what I expected, once he looked at my educational records and background where i was from and went to college to, he completely went off subject about his life, but i went along with it as long i make a good impression with him. Then after that he gave a good depth on how the job is and what they do for a baker. After that he told me to come in another to see how production goes on a busy to see hands on production in the kitchen, shadowing one of the baker if it's really the job I'm interested in or not. So once i've done that, he told me to contact him but email or text message about how it went and if I'm interested. He offer me the job right off the bat and paperwork within a few days.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Panera Bread (Springfield, MO) in Mar 2019
Interview
Filled out application online, then I went in to check up on application. Asked to talk to a manager. Was interviewed, and hired. Started work about a week later. The interview itself was uncomfortable because I was very qualified and was just hoping for the right salary offer.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Panera Bread (Richland, WA) in Sept 2018
Interview
Textbook group interview. They did more talking/telling than interviewing. No one seemed to know what they were doing. It was difficult for them to answer my questions. The Panel seemed to have trouble comprehending simple answers to their questions.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Panera Bread
Interview
Quick and easy, took less than 20 minutes start to finish, had a start date when done, pending a background check coming back as good. Overall the best interview I have experienced.
