I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Panera Bread (Rohnert Park, CA) in Oct 2015
Interview
Easy interview based more on personality. Only questions asked were about what tasks I was willing to perform and my availability. Must go-in after you apply online to follow up to get an interview. It takes 2 interviews to get hired. Bring your availability to both interviews. For personality they look for a trust - worthy type of person, company moto is "no jerks". After the two interviews you will have an orientation for about an hour for paper work, then have to attend planet bread which is a training/ introduction to the company and is a few hours long then you can start. You must have your own uniform dark jeans, black non-slick soles and black t-shirt if an associate.

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Panera Bread (Orlando, FL)
Interview
The interview was sitting down with the general manager. The job offered on the spot. Cafe associates were largely high school students. Interview reflected ability to show up on time and be trainable.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Panera Bread (Melbourne, FL) in Mar 2025
Interview
Interviewer (who was the manager at the time) was a nice person, charming in the way he spoke, understanding, a good listener, and good speaker. I didn't get the job, but he was still very charitable when interviewing me.
I applied online and was reached out for an interview a couple days later. We briefly went over my resume and talked about availability and interest. The meeting with the general manager was only about 15 minutes - 30 minutes long.
