I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies in Feb 2011
Interview
Talked to a recruiter at the career fair at my school and was emailed a week or so later to schedule a phone interview. On the day of the interview I was called by the interviewer and was asked about what I thought about Palantir's technologies. Then went on to describe the position of Quality Assurance and what it entailed. The interviewer was very polite and we seemed to get along pretty well. The interview didn't seem awkward at all.

Interview
I initially had a phone screen with HR to determine whether or not I had the skills that matched the job description. After that I had an interview with a member from the QA team who asked about my background and threw me a problem solving question. He asked me how I would go about testing an elevator.

Nearly every question that was asked was posted here already, so just prepare well and be very interested in the company.
