I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (New York, NY) in Nov 2017
Interview
1. Phone call with recruiter, mainly behavioral and experiences.
2. Phone call with current deployment strategist at Palantir. This was also a lot of behavioral with a few technical questions mixed in.
3. On-site in New York. They flew me in and paid for all expenses (hotel, food, etc.). This consisted of on-site tour and presentations and a quick lunch. Then I personally had 3 back-to-back interviews with different deployment strategists. The questions ranged from behavioural, to technical based on experiences, to random brain teasers and problem-solving questions.

Question 1
If you are sitting on the edge of Europe in Gibraltar looking towards Africa and taking one picture a minute of swallows migrating from Africa to Europe, how would you count the swallows only looking at the thousands of pictures you have taken?
Initial screening call with a current Palantir employee -> onsite interview -> hiring manager interview.
Overall very friendly and great. But it was a bit chaotic and unstructured though. The onsite interview had 30 people in one room for almost 4 hours. And the interview portion was only an hour of it. If you’re out of college this is exciting and great experience, but as something with work experience, it was frustrating taking PTO to go in office to have it be a college onboarding day

Interview
There were 3 stages:
1. Chat with a currently deployment strategist (20 min)
2. Onsite interview: consisted of a 45 minute technical comprehension portion and a 45 minute decomposition portion
3. Interview with hiring manager (30-60 min)
After passing a round, they were very quick to get back to me, usually same day or end of the next business day.
