I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (New York, NY) in Nov 2016
Interview
I applied online and was contacted by a recruiter about a month later. I had a phone call with the recruiter which felt more like an interview than an informal phone call. Be prepared for questions about what you are looking for in a job and why Palantir. After the phone call, I was set up with a phone screen, I was working around a tight deadline so about after about two hours my recruiter set up another call with me for the next day. We then talked about my next interview being an onsite in New York and my onsite was scheduled for 5 days from then. When I got to New York I had three interviews. Only one of the interviews involved actual coding, the others involved more high-level algorithm questions. For my first interview there was only one interviewer but for my other two interviews, I had two interviewers. Then I got a quick tour of the office and headed back to Seattle. As I was getting on the plane, I heard back that they wanted to schedule another coding interview that was over the phone. After that one, I heard back the next day asking to set up a final hiring manager interview. This one was onsite in Seattle and over skype with the hiring manager in Palo Alto, more behavior questions. Then I was taken out to coffee with an employee and got to ask them all my questions about the company. I heard back three days later with the offer.
