PRGX hiring process is very unprofessional and very inconsistent. The recruiter is not well trained. Here are some details: I was contacted by the recruiter a couple of days after I applied online. I shared with my professional experience with her, she said I would be contacted for a technical interview in 2 days. And then I waited 2 weeks, and then I received an email asking 6 very amateur type questions (see interview questions session for details). I emailed it back. Two days later, I finally got a chance to have a phone interview with a manager and a tech person. The phone interview went well, the manager would like to bring me to do an onsite interview. The recruiter made a schedule for that. However she didn't mention any the travel arrangement such as flight and hotel stay for the onsite interview since I am an out of state candidate. She said she would ask the VP for this once I emailed my question. After 2 days she emailed me back, saying they changed their mind and only consider a local candidate for this job.
Here are my impression for PRGX:
1) they are very sensitive to the hiring budget. No travel expenses for the hiring process and no relocation will be provided if the candidates are from out of states.
2) the recruiter is not very professionally trained.
For the future job seekers with PRGX, PLEASE THINK TWICE IF YOU WOULD LIKE PUT YOUR CAREER INTO THIS KIND OF COMPANY!!!
