The interview was a mix of behavioral and technical questions. Some questions were really unexpected and difficult to answer but the interviewers were patient and even helped guide through some questions

How do you keep yourself updated of research progress in your field?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at PPG (Pittsburgh, PA) in Nov 2014
Interview
A recruiter approached me and set up a phone interview with the hiring manager. The manager asked mostly technical questions about my experiences.
On-site was a couple weeks later and it lasted a whole day, from 8am to almost 5 pm. It started with a technical presentation, about 1 hour in total. Then I talked to a number of interviewers one by one. The hiring manager first, and some senior level engineers/scientists in the group, with the HR manager the last. ALL BEHAVIORAL QUESTIONS except for the hiring manager.

1. How do you think your experience can help our company?
2. Tell me about a time when you had a conflict with your boss; the biggest challange, etc. Mostly this kind of questions.
