      Entry Level Electrical Engineer Interview

      17 Mar 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Ann Arbor, MI
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at POWER Engineers (Ann Arbor, MI)

      Interview

I was asked about my understanding of substation and transmission line drawings. I was shown some of the drawings as well. I was asked to discuss some of my past experience related to the mentioned topics, then the technical discussion was over. Company culture was talked about and such I suppose to help provide some information so I would know if I would fit in. The entire process was informal, but more so than they mention before you arrive. It felt similar to if you were to discuss business with an uncle.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

I was asked general things about transmission lines and their substation design drawings.
