For my specific store, I had a trial day where I had to act as a sales associate. That way, they evaluate how I interact with customers and how I am professionally. They didn’t expect me to know everything.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at PIER 39 (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2022
Interview
Fist I applied through LinkedIn, then I had one basic call with the recruiter, then one in-site interview with the manager and the Sr. GL Accountant. it lasted around 90 minutes and one last I interview with the controller

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PIER 39 in Aug 2023
Interview
In person interview. Both the manager and director were very friendly and professional. Interview lasted about two hours walking around and touring the Pier 39 campus. Wish I had worn more comfortable shoes. Interviewer was very polite and friendly but barely asked me any actual questions, instead kept insisting that I ask him questions, which I did. I was told that I would absolutely hear back either way when a decision was made in about a week. Never heard anything, of course.

Question 1
Strangely I was asked very few questions at all. Just some basics. Do you have experience working with ____? What interests you about this role? Interviewer repeatedly throughout the interview instead encouraged me to ask him questions, so I did, a lot, but it was like he was looking for me to ask a specific question which I guess I did not.
