I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Overdrive Interactive (Boston, MA) in Feb 2025
Interview
It was a very easy interview because it was only 20 minutes - it was scheduled for an hour with the CRO. After he finished speaking he handed the floor over to me. Ultimately he had no in-depth questions for me nor indepth answers to my questions.
At the 20 minute mark he did the, "Do you have any other questions for me." Which we all know means the discussion is wrapping up. He voluntarily explained that the interview ran short because he wanted me to meet with two other execs, but they're tied up in a client emergency. He loved my experience and thought that I could tackle the role. While shaking hands he said that he'd reach out to the recruiter to set up a day for me to come back in.
Two days later, I got an email saying they won't be moving forward. No explanation. Don't BS prospective employees and be a decent person.
