I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Outback Steakhouse (Garner, NC)
Interview
I applied to Outback for the Host position. The process took around 2 days. The interview was fairly simple. The manager asked the typical hiring questions. The interview was short and took around 15 minutes. The employees were friendly and even wished me luck. However, I did not get the job, presumably because they found someone with work experience.
I applied online. I interviewed at Outback Steakhouse (Osage Beach, MO) in Nov 2025
Interview
I was sat in the corner by a server, and told a manager would be right with me. I sat for 25 minutes and no one came to me. I decided to leave, and there was no one even in sight to tell.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Outback Steakhouse
Interview
The interview process was quick and relatively painless. They asked about my experience in the restaurant industry and how I handle regular and difficult guests. I walked in and they were looking for a host immediately.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Outback Steakhouse (Davie, FL) in Jan 2025
Interview
It was a pleasant experience. It was a 2 part interview process. The first one was easier than the second. The second one involved trickier questions but if you’re quick witted it’ll be easy.
