I applied online. I interviewed at Opendoor (San Antonio, TX) in Mar 2021
Interview
Initial 30 minute call with hiring manager, followed by 4.5 hours worth of zoom interviews with 4 other managers/team members one after another. It was time consuming, but not as laborious as initially thought. It's a bit of a whirlwind and each interviewer sticks to a hard 30 minute block. Whether you're done or not.
I waited 2 weeks to hear anything, which isn't terrible, but isn't, great since they had no intention of making an employment offer. I'm leaving a negative review solely because after the time put in preparing and interviewing, I believe candidates should get some form of feedback from the interviewers. I have respectfully reached out multiple times asking for just that, only to be completely ignored. Extremely unprofessional.

My process for assessing neighborhoods and determining ARV and developing scope of work.
There were multiple rounds of virtual interviews with various managers and team members across the country. That was after talking with the recruiter a couple of times. The overall process took a couple of weeks.

Question 1
How do you manage a vendor who is falling behind schedule or is over budget?
Had an initial phone interview with the recruiter. She let me know when the call started that they had actually just filled the position, but figured we could still get on a call to get familiar with each other.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Opendoor (San Antonio, TX) in Jun 2021
Interview
The interview process was comprised of three parts - recruiter (15 minutes), hiring manager (30 minutes), and four-member panel video interviews (30 minutes each) with three Market Managers and a General Manager. The interview process took about a week in total to complete but I received an offer within 24 hours of my last interview.

Question 1
The interview was focused application of management and knowledge of construction. Be prepared to answer questions about successes and failures and strengths and weaknesses. My advice, do not talk in generalities, give examples, and be sure to ask questions when given the opportunity.
