This was one of the most careless interview processes I've ever gone through. For the initial phone screen, the recruiter called me 35 min late without so much as an apology. I was not given an opportunity to ask any questions about the role during this interview. My follow-up phone interview was with the hiring manager, but was changed last minute to a different person and then changed again the day before the interview. When I finally got to speak with the hiring manager, they had no context for why/how I was interviewing for this role. In fact, they actually asked me if I applied for the job or if I'd be recruited for this role, because there were actually people with experience for the job interviewed. That was the final straw for me and I knew that there was absolutely no chance I'd work at a company that treated their candidate this way. Safe to say, I never heard from the recruiter again and got a stock rejection. The process made me feel totally disrespected. Guess they've never heard the saying that you should treat the candidates they reject well enough so they're inclined to refer your future hires. Oh well.
