A few steps:
1. Phone interview with hiring manager
2. Onsite interview with the hiring manager, team, and CTO
Positives:
- A pleasant experience overall, everyone I talked to was friendly and laid back.
- Interview questions were high level/theoretical, maybe only one or two trivia questions.
- Fast, agile interview process.
Negatives:
- The offer I received was for a 1.5 week deadline, but two days later was informed via email the date was wrong and the deadline was actually a week earlier - only leaving two days at the time for me to wrap up other interviews.
- Not willing to budge much in negotiations on base salary
