Confusing Outcome After Thorough Interview Process My interview for the Software Engineer position was quite comprehensive. It began with a Group Discussion (guesstimating iPhone users in India), followed by a Technical Assignment (MPIN and Levenshtein algorithm), and an Aptitude test (50 questions in 15 minutes). The Technical Interview with Mr. X was unconventional; he was 35 minutes late and immediately asked about polymorphism after I stated my name. An HR round and a final PHE round completed the process. I diligently completed all tasks for both Day 1 and Day 2. To my surprise, I was rejected, with the reason given as not submitting Day 1's task, even though I submitted it well before the 5 PM deadline on the same day. This specific feedback was puzzling. On the other side, the office atmosphere was ok, and I observed a strong of employees averaging over 10 hours worktime daily. Be aware it's a 6-day work week.
