I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at One Door (Cambridge, MA) in Feb 2015
Interview
Interview was a fairly standard whiteboard and problem solving exercise with the additional wrinkle that there were problems that needed to be solved live on a laptop. These were probably a bit too skewed towards some "gotchas", but were nothing too unexpected. In the end, the concern was primarily about problem solving skills in general.
Met with an engineering lead, who asked about my SQL knowledge. After explaining my previous experience and noting that my most recent role was not as SQL-focused, she determined this was not a fit and abruptly ended the interview.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at One Door (Boston, MA) in Oct 2015
Interview
Had lunch with the Engineering team and got to talk to them.
After, had 3 20 minute interviews with 3 different engineers.
Everyone was really friendly and helpful.
Some of the questions were challenging, but the interviewers were very helpful.
There were about 5-6 of us there at the same time, but all the questions were in 1 on 1 environments
