Interview
The interview process was straightforward and typical for an analytics role. I worked with multiple recruiters throughout, which was unexpected but manageable. The take-home project was thoughtfully designed and felt representative of the role's responsibilities.
The experience changed drastically when it came to the offer stage. The recruiter and hiring team became evasive about important details, sidestepping straightforward questions. When I sought clarification, their responses turned surprisingly belligerent. I was ready to accept the role and only needed additional context before making a decision. Despite the positive experience earlier in the process, the lack of transparency around the offer was a let down to an otherwise smooth interview process.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Okta (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2019
Interview
1. Screening w/ recruiter
2. Phone call w/ hiring manger
3. Onsite with 4 - 45 min interviews back-to back
4 . Don't know...didn't make it past step 3
An overall very professional experience from first call with recruiter to my onsite and then subsequent follow-up letting me know they wouldn't be moving forward. While I didn't get to final stage, it was all well-handled from the Okta team. Interviewers were engaged, prepared and was 'meaty' discussion with everyone I met with. No complaints.

Question 1
Focus on the questions you want to ask the interviewers rather than prepping answers to their questions you're anticipating. It was very discussion based.
