I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Odeon Cinemas
Interview
It consisted of a group interview. We had to introduce ourselves to the group and then we were split into smaller groups of 4. We then had to pretend that we were on radio and basically make an ad for Odeon outlining what they offer and the benefits etc. After this stage half of the group were told to go home and the rest were interviewed one-to-one. The interview was very basic, simple questions like what does good customer service mean to you, why did you leave your last job etc. Was told that I'd get a call if successful. Thankfully I didn't.
The interview process felt very relaxed and informal, with plenty of time set aside at the end for questions and discussion. We met in a Costa next to the Odeon, which helped keep the atmosphere comfortable.
Presentation about working at Odeon. Group Interview was very fun. Then 1-1 interviews but it was more like 2-1. There was a cinema manager then a cinema host asking the questions and writing down notes. People who had full availability have a better chance of getting in than those who can’t work past 11pm

Question 1
How does having diverse set of colleagues help you in your work?
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Odeon Cinemas (Cardiff, Wales) in Oct 2025
Interview
the interview process was very relaxed, with a very nice manager.Felt like a nice conversation, even if I didn't get an offer, it was a good experience. A lot of back and forth. Some of the questions were a bit odd such as the favourite food question, but it felt like they wanted to know me more as a person to see if i would fit in their team.
