After being reached out to via direct email, had an initial video call with the head of engineering at the time followed by a 2nd round take-home bioinformatics challenge. The take-home challenge was to create an end-to-end pipeline to analyze some example experiment data and then plot the results. The challenge was fairly difficult and time consuming, although I did finish it in time within the 1-week deadline. They notified me that I would not be moving forward in the process after a couple of days.
