Interviews for this credentialed teacher position are usually conducted over the phone as their main office is in Placerville. I would have like to meet face to face as I felt it was hard for me to connect with the interviewer. Interviewer sometimes sounded like she was reading from a script.

Question 1
How I would get a student to attend the state mandated testing.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Ocean Grove Charter School (Monterey, CA)
Interview
I applied online. Then I had a phone interview. After that I was required to write sample letters to parents, and also write short answer/essay type responses to questions. Then I was offered an interview by video conference with a panel. I was contacted a week later with a job offer. Finally, I had to do tons of online training without pay. The training was really disorganized, but the worst part of the on-boarding process was the hours and hours of unpaid work and effort.
