I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at OSI Digital (Hyderābād) in Nov 2019
Interview
The interview process took 3days including technical, DM and client round. Everything was went well.
Cons: Though OSI digital know about that I am holding an offer from another company from the starting they continued the process and said they can give the same offer whatever I got from another company and agreed for the same since I am interested with OSI. They had called me regarding my joining and confirmed orally that I have to join with them and by the evening I will be receiving the offer. At night 9PM she updated me that they don't have a budget hence they are not releasing the offer. If they have budget constraints they would have told me that they can't afford and I may not wasted my two days interview process. They offered me 2L lesser than what I got from other company and I denied the offer.
I had two technical interviews for an Angular Developer position. Both interviews were quite difficult and very focused on deep Angular knowledge, RxJS, and architectural concepts. The interviewers asked a lot of practical scenario-based questions and expected detailed explanations. Overall, it was a tough process but well-organized and professional.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at OSI Digital (Hyderābād) in Sept 2017
Interview
Process of Interview :
Applied through a recruiter, and the process took 1 day. After the initial phone screening, they invited to their office for F2F interview.
Interview day :
Listing only cons beacuse couldn't find any pros.
Cons
The interview lasted for an hour or so. The interviewer totally lacked professionalism in introducing himself before the start of interview and he is more attached to his laptop rather than paying attention to what the candidate is answering. It's utter disgrace and wastage of time to attend the interview. I guess he is asking questions by using Google. I see most of the time he is typing. All they need is folks who are proficient with multiple programming languages. I understood that, they need a leaflet of technologies on your resume. They don't care to hear what was your earlier assignments in your previous firm.
All they say is Technical knowledge is important rather business knowledge. For a moment I was flabbergasted? Do you pitch technical stuff to clients or ask their problems and then solve the problems with technology. Group up kids!
When asked, what's expected from this role, he started reciting what's all written in job description (which is already known) , when asked i knew all of this, tell me something new which is not a part of JD or day to work, challenges at work etc.
He was clueless about it, and dodged the question saying, i am done. HR will get back to you. He lacks clarity in asking the questions too. I was asking him to repeat twice to repeat the question.
Futile attempt of interviewing. They say they have projects and good cash inflows. I doubt if they.
Advice to management :
Please tell folks that you need a leaflet or brochure of technologies on resume. I think they're shortlisting such people.
