The interview process with Nutanix was a great experience, and I felt well supported throughout each stage. My recruiter clearly explained the process and provided guidance at every step, which helped set me up for success.
The process consisted of three interviews: an initial phone screening with the recruiter, a technical interview, and a final round that included both a hiring manager interview and an additional technical discussion. Each interview was scheduled about a week apart, and I received timely updates and clear communication throughout.
Overall, the interview process for the Nutanix SRE internship was well organized, transparent, and professionally managed.

The interview processes itself is multistage, my experience was first behavioral then technical. Best advice would be to review what the company is. You are expected to know a bit about the company.

One question I had revolved around basic Linux commands. The point was to test if you are familiar with the terminal.
The Nutanix SRE Intern test was an online MCQ-based assessment. It included questions on hypervisors, hardware concepts, cloud fundamentals, operating systems, networking protocols, and DBMS/CN related capabilities. The test had multiple sections covering both theoretical knowledge and practical reliability engineering scenarios. Overall, the questions were clear, technical, and directly related to the SRE role, with a strong focus on cloud-native and system-level understanding.
