I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Saint Louis, MO)
Interview
Had one virtual video interview that was casual and good conversation. Was invited in for an in person interview. Upon arrival, I was immediately was greeted with an ACT like assessment that was not mentioned prior. Instructions were very vague and there was no explanation given as to what and how this assessment was used. Assessment was timed and not specific to the job I interviewed for. Questions included, logic, language, math, and more. This is not an inclusive practice for those with testing anxiety or learning disabilities. From there I was taken in for an in person interview. Very traditional interview - reviewed the role, my career aspirations, past experiences and areas of interest. Was told we would follow up for next steps in a few weeks. Heard nothing. Messaged both the headhunter I worked with as well as the manager I interviewed with and did not get a response back from either.
TLDR; ghosted after 2 rounds of interviews
Did about 5 rounds, 2 of which were in person then got ghosted. Followed up twice with no response, the team did react to my linkedin post when I got a new job too which was weird.
