They called as they were desperate to fill the position. I accommodated their request for a phone screen and to come in on very short 2-day notice. I was asked for my references after the office interview and then nothing for a week until I emailed back requesting info and was told they went with someone else. Completely unprofessional, this shouldn't be happening on a senior level. I asked them tough questions that they didn't seem comfortable answering but they needed to be asked as they were getting rid of a team. Not impressed at all and good luck to the person who got the job a sthey're expecting miracles.
