They walk back their offers due to their inability to cross-functionally operate as a cohesive team. I view this as a strong indicator of cultural and internal company conflict.
Interview process took about three weeks, bounced around to multiple interviewees [6 total - 2 HR employees, 2 Marketing, 1 Sales, + CEO (whose name is Karin - infer what you will)], company made an offer and presented a hiring contract. After attempting to negotiate the offer, HR added an additional interview and asked me to hold off on signing and returning the contract.
After a litany excuses on why I was not receiving a response on the added interview (travel, hospice, etc.), they reneged the offer.
