I interviewed with NinjaOne and it was honestly one of the worst hiring experiences I’ve had.
The process started with the recruiter asking for my availability. I gave broad availability for the full week, yet she still scheduled the screening during the one hour I had specifically said I was unavailable. That was the first sign of how disorganized the process was.
The initial screening was off-camera, awkward, and felt very impersonal. It was not a great first impression. The next interview went much better, and the interviewer made it seem like I would be moving forward. She told me to add her on LinkedIn and said I would hear back within three days.
Then I heard nothing.
After multiple follow-ups, I was ignored. Eventually, the recruiter texted saying she would call me with an update. Instead, I received an automated rejection email.
Rejection itself is not the issue. It was the ghosting, the empty promises, and the complete lack of professionalism. Candidates put real time and energy into these interviews. The whole experience felt careless and disrespectful. For a company that talks about people and culture, this process showed the opposite.
