Interview
After a series of interviews and a writing test — I did not hear back from them. Whether I was moving forward or not, my candidacy was not communicated appropriately from a communications agency.
I applied online. I interviewed at Nike Communications in Mar 2026
Interview
Completed an initial interview with HR for an SAE position within a week of applying. The interviewer was very pleasant and personable, and took the time to walk through what they were looking for in a new hire. It took over two weeks to hear back and receive an automated rejection, despite the interviewer noting they would follow up with a decision within ~7 business days from the screening call. By that time, I knew I would not be moving forward in the process, since agencies tend to move quickly for those they really want to hire. I appreciated the opportunity, but it would have been nice to hear back within the projected timeline so applicants aren't in limbo waiting for feedback.
The next step in the process would have been a portfolio review, followed by a final-round interview.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you were responsible for developing a pitch that connected your client to a larger industry trend. How did you ideate the pitch? How did you see it through? What were the results?
Have you had any experience pitching media ideas/strategies to clients? If so, how did you convince them that your team had a valuable idea, even if the strategy was something different from what they normally pursue?
