I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Nielsen (New York, NY) in Apr 2018
Interview
I had an initial call with the recruiter where we walked through my resume and discussed my qualifications, which was a total of 30 minutes.
My next round was a phone interview with a director, which also included a resume walk-through but focused more on situational questions and case study questions. She asked very specific questions about my past work experience and how I felt I would be equipped to handle the tasks on the team.
My final round was an on-site interview in the NYC office, where I met with another director. It was a much more laid back conversation about my interests in market research; it served more as a chance to learn about the position and the team. He asked several questions about my strengths and weaknesses and very pointed questions about the kind of research that I was familiar with in my former roles.
All promises about timelines were met or exceeded, and there were never any cancellations or delays.
it was just regular interview process, asking about the past experience, interest in the field. Ask for excel skills. I interviewed for the technology department, so I was asked about my interest in technology and some related questions--trend technology
Was given a task and interview. Expect a brief based on a supplied dataset, then a presentation in person. Good process, straightforward, would recommend. Need to fill word limit to submit this review.
