I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nexus Productions (London, England) in Oct 2023
Interview
This was an initial Zoom chemistry call with the talent manager.
The interiewer gave the impression he wasn't fond of me from the off. This was a shame as I've collaborated with the company in the past & felt that I'd have been a good fit. I had hoped to have an opportunity to interview with the team that I would have been working within, as often talent managers are unable to answer position-specific questions. The interviewer told me to expect a follow up in a couple of days.
I followed up to say thanks & asked some questions on the position and the team structure, I didn't receive a response and chased again after 6 days - still no response.
I received a stock-standard rejection email for the role 8 days after the call.

He asked about my current work experience, and what the split is (in my experience) across live-action and animation
Series of video calls discussing types of projects, my technical experience, and how the company operates. Very welcoming group of people, eager to explore options and discuss pros and cons of the studio to make sure we were a good fit.
