      Operations Interview

      16 May 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at NetApp

      Interview

Friendly and nice through the entire interview process with 6 interviews. Completely ghosted after the 6th interview. Every person bragged about the culture and great people. Surprised to be ghosted after so much time interviewing, don't waste your time with these people.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Asked basic questions about experience, but let me repeat...ghosted after 6 rounds of interviews. Don't waste your time with these people.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at NetApp in Jun 2024

      Interview

Applied via Linkedin and heard back within a few days for initial recruiter interview, it went great and she said she would follow up with the hiring manager and get back to me by the end of the week. She emailed me 2 days later and asked if I can interview with the hiring manager the following week, the next week the day prior to my interview with the hiring manager she said they would like to get me scheduled with the team that same week as well. I took this as a very positive sign. I interviewed with 3 people from the team and the hiring manager the start of the week, the interview was great and I got along well with everyone I talked to. The hiring manager had video technical issues on his side but the conversation was great, all of them even said I would be great in this role. 2 days after my final interview with the team members I reached out to the recruiter relating how excited I was by the interviews and what would next steps be. From then on I was completely ghosted, I sent an additional follow up email with ZERO response. Then I noticed on Linkedin the opening was removed and just assumed they hired someone. A little shocked that I didn't even get an email response that they went another route considering the positive response and the amount of interviews I went through. Seems to be the norm now

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They wanted to know how I would handle certain situations and to name something in my career I was the most proud of.
