I received a modeling problem and dataset and was given 2 weeks to work on it. Deliverables included code, predictions on a test set, and a written report detailing my approach, analysis, and conclusions. I then met with the hiring manager and several current associates. We shared backgrounds and I discussed some of my relevant experience at a high level. After this I walked the interview panel through my report, pausing to field questions about modeling choices, analysis, and conclusions. The group was really pleasant to talk to, asked good questions, and I felt at ease during the presentation portion of the interview. I received an offer approximately a week later and accepted.
