I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at National Grid (Castle Donington, England) in Jul 2025
Interview
Waited less than two weeks from application to interview offer. Just one interview stage. Questions were repetitive in nature at times. Tasks given on the day, so nothing to prepare before hand.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at National Grid (Syracuse, NY) in Oct 2015
Interview
I applied online and was contacted by HR for a phone screen. A few days later was contacted again by HR and asked to interview in Syracuse within a couple days. The interview was conducted by two individuals who would not be working with the selected candidate and would not be located in the same city as the selected candidate. The questions asked were fairly simple and focused on prior experience. Only one or two questions involved a substantive understanding of the industry. The description of the position posted online was only vaguely similar to what was described at the interview. While the position as posted appeared to be for a lower level staffer with only a few years of experience in reality, they were looking for someone with many years of experience and a deep network of contacts.
