I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at National General Insurance (Dallas, TX) in May 2018
Interview
I received a phone call about a job fair and was invited. Went to the job fair where I learned it was a pre screening. Didn’t think I would get a call back and they called the same day and anting to schedule interview next day. Was escorted from one floor to another room. Very quick and easy. Some questions caught me off guard but interviewers were nice.

Question 1
What do you do when a penguin with a ball cap walks in and asks for help?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at National General Insurance (Dallas, TX)
Interview
First contact was with recruiter who suggested the position to me based on my resume after I applied for a completely different position.
Next was a 2 person interview with managers , lasted about an hour. They asked the general “tell me about a time when” questions & answered my questions about average workday and their expectations of the individuals they select for the position. All went well , was moved up to final level interview with one individual who said she was the head of this particular department. Two 1 hour long interviews later & they ghosted me.
Obviously I was a good enough candidate to be recommended from recruiter then further recommended by the original 2 interviewers , only to be ghosted in the end with not so much as a “we have selected another candidate”.
It was a waste of time & I truly hope they fix this system
The process took too long. The questions were bland and some didn't make much sense. The follow up was very long as well. Wasn't very impressed with the process on.
