I interviewed at NSF (Windsor Mill, MD) in Aug 2017
Interview
A complete waste of my time. They put you through a lot for a entry level GS-5 $36,000 a year job. Somebody needs to teach this agency the meaning of second interviews. Usually at any other job you have second interview when they have completely narrowed down there choices. This agency does a phone interview and a in person interview. Both are long and repetitive. I have a panel of 12 people ask me the same questions the 12 people in the phone interview asked. It is very excessive and unnecessary. It is the NSF not the CIA.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at NSF (Arlington, VA) in Jan 2023
Interview
The interview was okay, they were not difficult, in my opinion; it was more of a customer service type of question. They asked about nine questions in a period of 30 minutes. I'm just waiting for a response.

Interview
The interview is usually in a group setting since multiple positions need to be filled. Interview questions were not hard to answer. Interview was in person with 10 people. Since the pandemic interviews are on zoom.
