I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at NRG Energy (Houston, TX) in Sept 2023
Interview
2 interviews
- 1st interview with the direct team you would be working everyday
- questions are based on the resume qualifications
- questions are related to managing different types of challenges at work and how you solved those challenges
- they make questions to understand your fit in the company culture and team
- 2nd interview in Person
- they make the same type of questions as in interview 1 but the more senior role who is in charge of the department is present
- usually, the person leading is the Senior Exec. who at this point has not really had direct feedback about you as a candidate

The recruiter reached out to pre-screen me. Afterward, a meeting time was set up for a panel interview. The standard questions were asked in a panel interview. A meeting with the hiring manager was scheduled next.
