The interview was with a panel of two people, and they took it in turns to ask me questions. The interview was very structured, and they wrote a lot of notes. The questions were fairly standard, but I was tripped up on a couple; one that asked me which was my favourite NHS value (my mind went blank) and one about diversity and inclusion (I never had this question before so my answer wasn't very well prepared). After the interview I had to do a very easy numbers and spelling test. I am rating this interview as such a positive experience, because I was called later that day with the decision that I wasn't chosen, as they had promised. (this rarely happens) I asked for feedback and they were able to tell me that I was a strong candidate but it was just those two questions that a different candidate answered better. I really appreciate actual honest feedback because most places never call you and don't offer feedback. I was told I should apply again, now that I know what questions to expect in an NHS interview.
